Manager, Academic Services

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Program Management: Overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and courses offered by the college.
  2. Accreditation and Compliance: Ensuring the college maintains compliance with relevant accreditation standards, government regulations, and licensing requirements.
  3. Faculty and Staff Management: Supervising and supporting faculty and staff members, excluding sales staff, and fostering a positive work environment.
  4. Student Services & Engagement: Promote a positive student experience by overseeing student services, including admissions, enrollment, counselling, and extracurricular activities. Support student success initiatives, provide guidance on academic policies, and address student concerns and grievances. Foster a sense of community on campus by organizing events, clubs, and student leadership opportunities.
  5. Campus Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the campus, including facilities, maintenance, security, and technology infrastructure.
  6. Stakeholder Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including industry partners, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
  7. Quality Assurance: Implementing quality assurance processes and ensuring continuous improvement in educational delivery, assessment practices, and student outcomes.
  8. Policy Development: Developing and reviewing educational policies and procedures, ensuring they align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and college values.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Education, Educational Leadership, or a related discipline. A Doctorate degree is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in academic leadership roles, preferably in higher education.
  3. Proven track record of driving academic excellence, program development, and continuous improvement.
  4. Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment of learning outcomes.
  5. Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards in higher education.
  6. Strong knowledge of educational technologies and their integration into teaching and learning.
  7. Experience in faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation processes.
  8. Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging practices in higher education.
