Manager, Human Resources

Job Summary:

The Manager of Human Resources at Innivec will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function. This position will play a critical role in supporting the organization’s talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations. The Manager will collaborate closely with senior management, department heads, and employees to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the organization’s goals and promote a positive work culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  2. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new employee onboarding.
  3. Oversee employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  4. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and compliance with HR policies and regulations.
  5. Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, incentive plans, and employee benefits administration.
  6. Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
  7. Oversee the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  8. Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
  9. Advise and support managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee development, career progression, and work-life balance.
  10. Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, and changes in employment laws and regulations.

Performance Measures:

  1. Timely and effective recruitment and onboarding of qualified candidates.
  2. Employee satisfaction and engagement, measured through surveys, feedback, and retention rates.
  3. Compliance with labor laws, regulations, and HR policies.
  4. Effective resolution of employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
  5. Implementation of training and development programs that enhance employee skills and performance.
  6. Accuracy and completeness of HR records and documentation.
  7. Delivery of HR services within established timelines and quality standards.
  8. Contribution to a positive work culture and the achievement of organizational goals.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  1. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
  3. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  4. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  5. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines effectively.
  6. Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  9. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  10. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  3. Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and employment law.
  4. Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  5. Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in using HR software and tools.
  6. Demonstrated experience in managing recruitment processes and employee onboarding.
  7. Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
